The Use of
Geothermal Energy

The geothermal energy is extracted from the soil by several
100m deep boreholes by a heat pump system to provide hot
water/heating and cooling for the entire building in a highly
efficient way.

Furthermore the performance of the system is achieved by
using an well insulated building envelope with a high thermal
resistance, such as exterior walls with 15 cm mineral wool,
aluminium window elements with triple-glazed panels and
roof/terraces insulation of min 30/20 cm thickness.
